| This family of birds are closely associated with reed beds and swampy areas. 9 species have been seen in the UK; 4 of which are very rare. Reed, Grasshopper and Sedge breed in good numbers here and Marsh and Savi's are rarer breeders in the UK. Aquatic Warblers are rare passage vagrants to southern coastal marshes, but numbers are diminishing. |
